The Story (5 mins)
There’s a girl in my class that never tells the truth. I don’t know why she does this, because she is very pretty and smart. There’s no reason for her to not tell the truth. One day, she told the class that she was going to be invited by the president of the United States to the White House for dinner. Her comment came out of nowhere and everyone started calling her a liar. Our teacher told us to be quiet and asked her if that was true. She told us that it wasn’t. Our teacher asked her why she lied and she said that she didn’t know.
